This place has a limited selection of menu options and they only had a few items available on the menu when we went to visit. For tacos, they had the option of chicken and roasted meat - both were delicious. The price is very cheap, around 12-18 pesos per taco.
The best Taco experience so far in Bacalar, but please be early since they run out of everything by about 17:00, so you better come after swiming in the lake and so on. Try the tortas de carne asada, they're like 1.50 and you won't regret a single thing! 100/100 would definitely recommend!
8/10 Good and cheap Mexican Restaurant next to the center of Bacalar. Empanadas 10-15 MX, Tacos 17 MX, and Quesadillas 22 MX. For two people we paid for food and drinks around 160 MX.
Delicious homemade corn tortillas. I had sopes and a taco which were awesome and fresh. Prices are very reasonable here, even when located so close to el centro.
Best place to eat in Bacalar! (Or maybe we’re biased because we didn’t try anywhere else after eating here). Cheap Mexican food (15 each). Would recommend anything on the menu as it we were lucky enough to try something different every time we visited.
The best quesadillas I’ve had in Mexico and only 30 pesos. Lots of food options for 20-50 pesos and all so good.
Best sopes I’ve had after 1 month travelling through Mexico. The Torta is delicious too - the bread is so fresh. Cheap prices also. We’ve been back a few times now.
Very tasty food, friendly waitress, good prices and comfy outside area. Payment by card is possible. Staff rarely speaks English. I tried the Chilaquiles sincillos and it was amazing
